Happy Earth Day! Today we celebrate our beautiful planet and all the things that we can do to support it. Yes, there are things such as opting for plastic-free, switching to non-toxic, ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣and using reusables that are all amazing steps to take as an individual to be more mindful.

But, did you know that businesses create a majority of waste compared to an individual? This is why voting with your dollar is so important. It’s supporting businesses that are aligned with our values and the things we want to see more of (supply-demand).

I encourage you to opt for companies that are non-toxic (like actually non-toxic, not green-washed), closed-loop, fair trade, certified, and have low waste/sustainable packaging to just name a few.

Then you can sit at home, with your Earth Day martini and know that you are making a difference, even if it feels small.
