To celebrate and commemorate my sister’s 21st birthday (!!!) today, I’m dedicating this drink to her and sharing a special message that I wish I had when I was her age. I wasn’t able to share the whole thing in the video, but here was the original script:

“I’m dedicating this third drink to my little sister for her 21st birthday today. Happy Birthday. You’re finally 21! This age is a huge milestone to the beginning of so many opportunities in life. With this age comes a lot of responsibilities, memories, and self discovery. Whatever you choose to do in life and with the choices you make, make them with intention. If you decide to drink, drink in celebration with company. If you decide to stay sober, be joyful in the present recalling each and every moment. Love your youth, your early 20’s because it goes by a lot faster than you think. Whatever you decide to do in life, it’s ok if you don’t see the whole picture now. It’s ok to change your mind and do something else. Stay true to what’s important to you, and I promise you’ll be just fine. I love you and happy 21st.”
